£2 million turn-key project with all the design and construction undertaken by Cotaplan.
Built to provide training and assessment facilities for sensory impaired children at the school in Wimbledon.
The building was designed to meet the standards of Passivhaus accreditation. This is a highly recognised method of constructing buildings to be extremely energy efficient and reduce the carbon-footprint during the construction phase and throughout its life.
Fully furnished with a MVHR heating and ventilation system; curtain walling, suspended ceilings, modern kitchen and conference facilities; mezzanine floor with a raised viewing area, high-tech energy efficient lighting, passenger lift, high-tech rise and fall kitchen facilities; hoists, a fully integrated IT network, and connection to the existing school’s fire and intruder alarm system.

Externally clad with Thermowood, a natural Spanish Slate roof, concealed guttering, Anthracite triple glazed windows and landscaped to match with the existing school grounds.
Built for the school via Wandsworth Council, the project took around 8 months to complete – from the first spade in the ground to hand-over to the client in 2017.
