Understanding the Airport’s Needs
Liverpool John Lennon Airport required a high-specification modular offices to accommodate their senior management and administration teams. The new building needed to reflect the airport’s professional image while blending with the surrounding infrastructure. Crucially, it was essential for the facility to meet the stringent health and technical standards of HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) and HBN (Health Building Notes), due to its proximity to regulated environments and its use by key personnel. Speed of delivery and installation with minimal disruption were also a top priority.
Our Tailored Modular Office Solution
Cotaplan responded with a fast-track, 20-bay modular solution tailored to meet both the aesthetic and functional needs of the client. The double-storey building was designed and manufactured off-site to HTM/HBN specifications and fitted with anthracite windows and doors to ensure a clean, modern look that harmonised with neighbouring airport buildings. Both internal and external staircases were incorporated for convenience and accessibility. Once installed over just two days, Cotaplan completed the project with site-applied cladding, cleverly concealing all bay joints and giving the structure a polished, seamless finish.
