Cotaplan was commissioned to provide an 11m x 5m single-storey modular building in Cippenham, Berkshire. The building was linked to the existing nursey and installed over a weekend, allowing the school to continue operating as normal for the remainder of the project.

Functional Modular Building For Nursery Expansion
The school required a modular building to expand their existing nursery facilities without disrupting daily operations. The modular building needed to provide a safe and comfortable environment, incorporating modern amenities such as a fitted kitchen, washroom facilities and climate control. Compliance with safety standards, including fire and intruder alarms, and a high-quality internal and external finish were also required.
Turnkey Modular Building completed In 8 Weeks
Cotaplan delivered the project as a full turnkey solution. The building was finished with air-conditioning, a fitted kitchen, IPS panelling in the washroom, increased headroom with a suspended ceiling, and fully integrated fire and intruder alarm systems. The exterior combined Thermowood timber and Plastisol steel cladding, while all internal walls were tape and jointed plaster with an emulsion paint finish. The building was installed over a weekend and the full 8-week on-site programme ensured the project was completed efficiently and ready for immediate use.
