Following a competitive tender process by Hampshire County Council the contract was awarded for the supply, delivery and erection of a recycled building system to be used as a Dance Studio.

The client’s performance specification for the modular sports building insisted that a 3.50m floor to ceiling height was provided. Cotaplan’s large stock holding of floor and roof building components ensured that this critical performance requirement was provided.

Internally the leisure building was completed with a specialised dance ‘sprung’ activity floor system together with a high specification lighting system associated with a Dance Studio environment. The energy efficient building was also given a plastisol steel finish.

The fixed price project was completed on time and budget.
