Cotaplan were tasked with creating a Children and Families centre at Southmead Primary School in London.
With limited access for transport and crane works the delivery of this project needed to be carefully planned from the outset. With the site restrictions presented the decision was made to construct a new flat pack building system to create a Children & Families Centre. The flat pack system ensured the weight of each unit was kept to a minimum lift size required due to the site restrictions. The flat pack system also ensured that our client received the best building system available for achieving a traditional finish both internally and externally.
The works consisted of a full turnkey package inclusive of a new flat pack building system, foundations, drainage, service connections, external works and landscaping.
To achieve a traditional appearance the external finish of Rockclad was specified together with incorporating a range of internal finish associated with traditional methods of construction..
The centre was completed on time and on budget.
