New Nursery Extension Installed in Cippenham, Slough
Cotaplan recently installed a new nursery extension at a school in Cippenham, Slough. With the school operating as normal and restricted access on site, the building was delivered and positioned on a Saturday morning using all-steer trucks to minimise disruption.
This modular nursery building includes:
- Thermawood and plastisol steel cladding finish
- 2.6m internal headroom
- Plastered and painted walls
- IPS toilet cubicles
- Air-conditioning
- Wood-effect vinyl floor coverings
All elements were delivered as part of a turnkey package.
By producing buildings in a modular format, around 80% of the work is completed offsite in the factory while site preparation—foundations and service connections—is underway. This approach significantly reduces the time until occupation while providing all the benefits of a modern, high-quality learning environment.
