Cotaplan have recently installed a new modular mental health assessment unit at Royal Blackburn Infirmary and are now in the final stages prior to handover to the client. When completed the facility will boast the following finishes:

- CCTV & door access systems
- Integrated fire alarm system
- Staff attack alarm system
- Plaster & mist-coat painted finish
- Anti-ligature toilets, lighting, heating, cooling & ventilation
- A bespoke reception area
- Clinical sinks & custom designed kitchens
- High quality floorings with coved formers or ‘set-in’ skirtings
The modular building block was constructed offsite whilst the foundations and services were being competed- vastly reducing the time from start to occupation.
